Bless up massive! From the land of coffee and good vibes, the reggae rockers of Alto Grado return with a tremendous sound bomb. His most recent video, “La Despedida”, has just been released and comes as a special gift for all lovers of ska, reggae and Latin rock, recorded during his time in Aztec lands at the powerful Vive Latino 2025 Festival. Boom!

Recorded in the middle of their latest tour in Mexico, the video for “La Despedida” captures the unique vibe that was experienced during Vive Latino 2025, where Alto Grado ignited the audience with its fresh sound, its conscious message and that feminine power that characterizes the band. The combination of the Mexican landscape and the energy of the live performance creates an authentic atmosphere that transmits the message of the song with strength and heart.

👉 Watch it now and feel the vibe:

“The Farewell” is not just any tune, bredrin. It is a farewell anthem with gratitude, a clear message for the heart: let go without hate, without resentment, only gratitude. The vibrant rhythm of ska mixes with reggae and rock, creating a sonic explosion that makes you dance while you reflect.

With letters like:

The song reminds you that each closure is also an opportunity to start again, with a good face and a better vibe. One love at its finest.

This ska was composed and produced by Jonathan Medina (Mr. Jonas), and sung together with Martinika El Pulpo on drums and Punki on bass representing Colombia, in a powerful connection. But that's not all, my people: from Mexico comes La Santísima Voladora, bringing a special fire with trombone and trumpet, who were also in the Vive Latino 2025 show and in the production of this video. 100% real Ska, without additives!

With a solid trajectory and a proposal that combines feminine strength, Latin American identity and rebellious rhythms, Alto Grado has earned the respect of the public in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and the United States. They have shared the stage with legends such as Los Auténticos Decadentes, Inspector, Los Rabanes, and many more. His presentation at the closing of Rock al Parque 2023, together with Los Decadentes, was a historic moment that reaffirmed his position on the musical map.

This new video marks another firm step for the band, which has been releasing fire with the EP “Una y Otra Vez” and now with this new single that, without a doubt, will be an anthem in every ska and reggae dance.
