The Latin American reggae scene receives a powerful message with the arrival of "When I Confio", a collaboration that unites three titans of the genre: Luminares, Mesías Reggae and Costa Rebel. This song is not only an ode to faith and resistance, but is also part of the New Roots tradition, with a musical base that pays tribute to legends such as Alborosie and Ini Kamoze.

The creative process of "When I Confio" began in 2024 with a rapprochement between Tin, "El Gorrión" (vocalist of Luminares) and the renowned producer Costa Rebel, who sought to capture lyrics with a spiritual, positive and combative message. Inspired by Psalm 56:3-4, the theme took shape with a powerful vibe of confidence and resilience. Later, Pepe from Mesías Reggae joined the project, contributing his essence to complete a high-impact collaboration.

The connection between these three projects is more than musical: they share a vision of reggae with purpose, with lyrics that seek to uplift the spirit and raise awareness in their audience.

With more than 12 years of experience, Luminares has illuminated stages alongside great exponents of reggae such as C4, Riddim, Sig Ragga, Resistencia Suburbana and Matamba. His album La Estrella (2018) was recognized among the best national reggae albums, consolidating his position in the Argentine scene.

Directly from Garin, Buenos Aires, Mesías Reggae has toured stages inside and outside Argentina, sharing the stage with bands like Riddim, Natty Combo and Jah Love in Chile. Their proposal remains firm in spreading the positive and conscious message of roots reggae.

With over 25 years in the industry, Costa Rebel has worked with renowned figures such as Million Stylez, Cedric Myton, Derajah and Blackdali, as well as collaborating with highly regarded reggae labels such as Vpal Music (Jamaica/New York) and Evidence Music (Switzerland). His work on the Uhuru Riddim has brought together global reggae stars, elevating his status as one of the continent's most influential producers.
