This year, Pull It UP! was privileged to be present, capturing every vibrant moment, every electrifying performance, and conducting exclusive interviews with some of the genre's most influential artists.

A Festival that Celebrated Utopia

Under the motto "The Power of Utopia," Rototom Sunsplash 2024 offered a unique experience, where music and culture intertwined to create a space of peace, love and unity. The magic of the festival lies not only in the impressive lineup of artists, but also in the collective energy of the attendees who shared those days in an atmosphere of total harmony.

We had the opportunity to interview notable figures such as Mr. Wilson and Griffi, Swan Fyahbwoy, Bia Ferreira, Nattali Rize, Skarramucci, and the legendary Andrew Tosh, among others. The main stage witnessed memorable performances from living legends such as Alpha Blondy, Twinkle Brothers, Black Uhuru, Gladiators, Congos, The Wailers, and Groundation. The presence of Beenie Man and other reggae giants such as Romain Virgo, Etana, Alborosie, Busy Signal, and Jesse Royal, guaranteed nights full of rhythm and positive vibration.

The new voices of reggae also left their mark. Artists like Mo'Kalamity, Skip Marley, Marcus Gad, Bia Ferreira, Naomi Cowan, Sika Rlion, and Gotopo showed that the future of reggae is in good hands.

The festival would not be complete without the presence of Spanish talent, represented by SFDK, Green Valley, Sr. Wilson & Griffi, Fyahbwoy, Los Chikos del Maíz, Lxs Nadie, Anier, and Chambao, who offered performances that resonated with local and foreign audiences.

Alternate Stages: Dancehall, Dub Academy, and Latin Stage

The alternate scenarios also shined in this edition. The Dancehall and Dub Academy hosted global talents such as Latido Sound System, Little Lion Sound, Walshy Fire, Nicko Rooms, DJ Huex, Sinai Sound System, DJ Luiz Dubs, Docta Rythm Selecta, Javier Alerta, Johky, Quemadito Sound, Kybba, Green Light Sound System, among others who kept the energy high throughout the festival.

One of the most exciting moments was the tribute to Peter Tosh, led by his son, Andrew Tosh, who was accompanied by the original musicians from his father's band. The performance was a powerful reminder of Peter Tosh's immortal legacy. Another highlight was Midnite's performance, which left an indelible mark on the hearts of those in attendance.
