Antidoping announces The Era of the Lion: 34 years and Mexican reggae enters a new cycle

Antidoping has been one of the second for 34 years.

Founded in 1992 in Coyoacán, Mexico City, by brothers Pedro and Manuel Apodaca, the band that built an essential part of reggae in Spanish announces today a new chapter in its history:The Age of the Lion. 2025 was a pivotal year for Anti-Doping. And for reggae made in Mexico.

In fullReggae Month in Kingston, Jamaica, the band became thefirst Mexican band to perform at the official celebrations of Bob Marley's legacy. It is not a minor fact. It is confirmation that reggae in Spanish has been building something solid for decades — and that the world is watching.

Added to this was his participation in theEdition 30 of the Rototom Sunsplash, in Benicassim, Spain. One of the most important reggae festivals on the planet. Antidoping there, representing.
