The Argentine musician and producer based in Mexico officially presents his new album,, on November 3, 2026. «You are the concept of my new album»: eleven songs that, in his own words, were born as his healing process.
An album of heartbreak that begins by looking inward
The songs on the album are connected through the same emotion: heartbreak. But the story does not start pointing out culprits. Open with«Looking for love where there is none»(ft. Sabrina Soul), a first track that raises an underlying lesson: the answer to healing and finding oneself again is to look inside ourselves.

Recorded in Tlatlauquitepec, Puebla
According to the press release, the album was recorded in Tlatlauquitepec, Puebla, between 2025 and 2026, in a collaborative production with Anorman and Braian The Producer. Executive management was carried out by Universal Vibration and global distribution was carried out by Symphonic Latino.

In addition to Sabrina Soul on the first song, the note highlights four international collaborations:

Who is Crixta?
Crixta is the stage name of Christian Zanchez, an Argentine musician, composer and producer based in Mexico. He started championing new roots reggae, with a universal message and synthetic and futuristic sounds. In 2019 he released his first album, Unity Love, and in 2021 he presented the EP Eléctrico, which Billboard Argentina described, according to his official bio, as "the new sound of reggae in his country."
That same year he settled in Mexico, where he made his way into the CDMX reggae scene and toured the country. In 2023 he signed with the Danger Zone Music Group Latino label led by Jah Fabio, who died in May 2025. He then released his concept album Control Digital (2025) with Symphonic Latino, inspired by the technological boom and the influence of platforms on contemporary life, which brought together Pepe Grela (Antidoping), Artifex (Leonchalon), Jah Fabio, Sabrina Soul and Mike Dread.
Why “Crixta”?
The name came from a friendship. Karim, a Senegalese friend who worked near his studio in Buenos Aires, called him "Christian" with a very particular accent. One day he heard him say "Crixta" and knew that was the name. “I let it appear on its own,” says the artist.
A new sound stage
After consolidating its style in Latin reggae, Crixta opens a new stage of sound evolution in 2026, in which, according to its press release, Afrobeats rhythms, Afro-Caribbean influence and contemporary dance sounds assume the main role. We will have to press play on the eleven songs to see how much of that stage sneaks into the album.
An Argentine living in Mexico, recording in the mountains of Puebla and bringing together on the same album a man from Guadalajara, a Venezuelan and a Red Bull Batalla champion rapper: this is how Latin reggae moves today, without borders and without asking permission. The net, healing with rhymes written in a notebook is one of the most honest ways of making music.
